I'm a Reanalysis & Reforecast Associate Scientist at CIRES / NOAA Physical Sciences Laboratory.

I have a B.S. in Physics and Applied Mathematics & Statistics, and I've been working on graduate classes part-time for a while in Applied Mathematics.

I'm in love with black screens with light-colored text. I'm addicted to LaTeX and you can't convince me it's not worth it. It looks better. I support Free and Open Source Software, and I run Linux on all my personal machines. I would live in a terminal if there were enough space and I was artistic enough to create an ASCII bed. Ultimately, though, I just really enjoy technology. I also like helping people. I especially like when they intersect.
