I am currently seeking short-term freelance software engineering contracts, particularly in the areas of iOS or backend functional programming.

I strongly prefer remote contracts, though I am open to work in the San Francisco and North Peninsula areas.

Most recently I was the chief architect and founder at Tipbit, an email, calendar, and contacts app for iPhone and iPad. I have previously held roles as architect and director for XenServer at XenSource and Citrix, founding engineer and technical board member for OpenStack, and in general I have been a software engineer in telco, virtualization and cloud since 1997.
