I first starting programming almost 40 years ago on in Basic on a DEC 10 mainframe from the University of Louisville. Well it stuck, I received a B.A. in Computer Science in 1992 and have been developing software professionally in one capacity or another ever since.

I have two children who are both in college whom I no longer see as much as I would like to. In my spare time I enjoy photography, gardening, hiking and watching Netflix/Amazon Prime.

Software languages I have learned over the years, and in some cases mostly forgotten: Basic, Pascal, Fortran 77, Modula 2, PL/1, C, C++, Objective C, ActionScript, Assembly, Java, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript and Go.

I have dabbled with Groovy, Python, Perl, PHP, Lua and Ruby.
