Transport Layer Security (TLS, also often known as SSL) is the most common type of connection security used to put the S in HTTPS (no, not that S). This tag is for questions relating to HTTPS support on Stack Exchange.
Note that HTTPS just recently began official support as part of a long-awaited rollout across all of SE.
