For discussion about the explicitly commercial advertising that appears on this site (if any), as well as the Community Promotion Ads which are voted on by users of each site.
Stack Exchange shows two types of advertisement on its network:
- A certain amount of commercial advertising, on certain sites.
- A set of community-vetted ads on a per-site basis. Each community is invited to submit, and vote on, publicity for resources which may be of interest to the site's users. To find this, look for the tag community-ads in your site's meta.
Both types of publicity get reduced for users above 200 reputation.
