So… I don't really like the generative tag, and I feel it’s overly broad and there are, mostly, more specific tags that should be used instead. At the same time, it fails the burnination criteria:

Does it describe the contents of the questions to which it is applied? and is it unambiguous?

This tag can refer to genAI, other (non-ML) generative algorithms, and generating permutations/combinations of an array. It probably is used for other stuff too.

Is it on-topic?

I guess it is. But there are more specific tags that would be more useful.

Does the tag add any meaningful information to the post?

It means something "generative", but lacks specificity on what.

does it mean the same thing in all common contexts?

Not really, no.

Note that this tag has over 50 questions so unilaterally removing it is prohibited.
