I don't know how that got missed, but apparently there is an indication in the review if the question is closed, similar to the indication in a question's title if it is closed - [closed]:
Although slight, I would say that it definitely serves the purpose and shouldn't require any further changes.
This just transforms the problem back to its real source (mentioned by Ryan) which is the way a question finds its way to the Re-Open queue. I have already provided a few alternatives in This SE post.
