It happens a lot that the same question is being edited by multiple users, causing it to be sometimes overwritten or having almost the same edit by two different users.

I'm not requesting a feature, but I'm wondering why it's not acceptable to add "editing" label or other indication when someone is editing an answer or a question? It might be very helpful, specially when you see senior member editing it. Something like:

Since this feature doesn't exist, I suppose there are many considerations or bad side effects for this idea. Can someone please mention what are the pros/cons of something like that?
