"! Oleg will remember that". Joking aside, thanks, providing reasoning as to why something made the list or not will go a long way (especially given that many of the items that did not make the list are part of SE's own tech stack, which is... bizarre), @JNat. Frankly speaking, though, I am not sure why we even need a predefined list of technologies. If that puts too much strain on the analysts?, clearly defining the criteria for making it to the list would help, IMO.

We agree that our process for going through feedback has been somewhat arbitrary, and not particularly transparent. To address that, next year we plan to more actively [status-?] tag the posts providing suggestions, and to do a better job of explaining the rationale behind accepting or rejecting suggestions. | |

If the authors of the survey cared about such technologies, they would have asked about them. | |
