All your objections against the jargon tag can be refuted by the same arguments that support the existence of the terminology tag. If you don't know the difference between jargon and terminology you should follow your own advice and... use the Google.If in a book there is some valuable information about programming that cannot be found online then Stack Overflow is THE place to share that knowledge with others.
