The recently"recently viewed questionsquestions" feature in the apps is implemented completely client-side and is meant to serve the same function as history in a browser (since we aren't a browser and that history was just going into a black hole). Really, I made it because I need to check the same question over and over when fixing bugs and I can't just hit refresh to these the same page.
Since this is being done on device, on a data store that has very low usage, we have a lot less to worry about than the web team.
