If you are this concerned about receiving a bonus hat, just don't bother with hats at all. The whole point of secret hats is they are there to find by performing unknown actions on the site, which is part of the fun!! | |

| Dec 28, 2016 at 9:11 | comment | added | Bakuriu | @Amruthls One way is the following: 1) Hack the SE servers and obtain root access to the machines 2) Query their databases for hats data 3) Delete the hat you want from the rows you need 4) I believe SE has a few redundant databases and some offline backups, so you may need to hack a few more servers and also hide some malware to remove the information when the backups are put in place. 5) Done. I'll leave the details as an exercise for the reader. | |
