I proposed essentially the same thing back in 2011. I am still a fan of the idea. I think the threshold needs to be high, at least 500, or the Gold level will soon be diluted.

I personally I dislike "Team Player" as I have always felt that it implies a certain herd mentality and lack of independent thought. From my earlier Q&A my favorite proposal is Corinthian spirit from AakashM, which has a spot-on definition if we wish to build on the existing "Sportsmanship" badge:
