Well, the benefit of having them come here is that you frequent the site yourself, so if students are asking the FULLfull homework question as opposed to just a small problem they are having with it, you can see who it is. I feel it's okay to get help with homework, but pasting an entire question here and then going for a coffee break doesn't help them whatsoever.

Make sure to let them know that you also frequent the site, they. They will probably be hesitant in what they post if there is another set of eyes watching what they do ;)
