I don't know how often it happens for others, but evaluating possible duplicates carefully from the mobile version of the site is very hard, while posting a relevant answer can be fairly straightforward. I'm much more likely to blindly post an answer from my phone; while on the desktop I'll pursue "wasn't there something like this the other day?" hunches.
